Actor and radio presenter Cel Spellman is to host a new BBC Radio 1 Sunday afternoon show - The Number 1 Show - from July 19.

The show, dedicated to number ones and to breaking new pop music, will air from 4pm to 7pm every week, and also takes a look at what is 'must see' at the cinema, and the latest 'must play' games. Spellman made his radio debut in 2013 when he stood in for Dan and Phil on Radio 1's Request Show, and has presented for CBBC's Friday Download and The CBBC Official Chart. He has also appeared in TV series Waterloo Road and Homefront.
